I'm proud to be a Stanford grad. Well, born and bred anyway. I was born in a gardener's shed on the Stanford University campus. My mom, Tessa, had let us kids play outside the shed in the dirt one day when the cat people happened to drive by. Suddenly, poof!, we were whisked off to live in a warm, dry foster home with plenty of food and even other cats to hang out with! My mom and sibs have all found their forever homes already. I've just been a bit too shy to put myself out there.
I tend to keep myself to myself, but you can pet me if you're quiet and talk quietly to me. I like to curl up with one or another of the other foster cats as much for safety as the company. But once they start getting petted, I know what's coming and I try to relax and enjoy it, honest! I've even been caught curling up with my foster dad on the couch when some other cats are already there. I'm a little too timid to do that just on my own though.
If you have a quiet home and could love me even though I'm shy, I'm sure we'd both enjoy that very much.
