Beautiful Gender: Female Age: 6 years (est. DOB 8/18/2009) Breed: American Shorthair Hometown: Red Bluff, CA Status: Adopted!

I was rescued from the shelter in Red Bluff, where I was surrendered by my owner.  I was pregnant and so the shelter put me in a foster home where I gave birth to my babies.  They were all adopted, but I was not, and I was scheduled to be put to sleep.  The Fat Cat people heard of my plight, and took me in.

I'm as sweet as can be!  I'm not fond of other cats, and now that I'm in a foster home with other cats, I have a little place of my own away from the other cats, where I can eat in peace and get away from it all.  I'm very talkative, and mew and mew if I'm in need of a snack, or want to be kissed.  My foster mom thinks I'm very dear, and very special.

When I was at the shelter, my bio read:

Beautiful is aptly named for her honey colored coat and gorgeous eyes. Beautiful is approximately 1 year old and came into the shelter ready to give birth. She was taken to a foster home where she raised her kittens in peace and quiet. Her children have all found homes so now it is Beautiful's turn for happiness. This lovely girl adores people, is very vocal in her kennel in case you miss seeing her and happily rolls around and around when you pet her or scratch under her chin. She just wants someone to love and in turn love her. She is such a sweetheart who deserves a second chance for a good life.
