My name is Peter, but I get called Pete, Peetie, and even the diminutive, Peetie Pie. I answer to them all.  I have a big personality, I'm very friendly, gentle and outgoing, and I love to be around people. I also love to play and chase things, including my brother Davy. I'll chase feathers and tassels, and catnip mice. My foster home has a big window where I can watch birds and squirrels, and I really like to do that.  

I was adopted out almost two years ago with my brother Davy by the Fat Cat people. I thought I had found my forever home, but the woman taking care of me had health problems and couldn't care for me anymore.  I'm living in a foster home now with my brother. I am incredibly friendly and trusting. I was best friends with my foster parents within minutes. I also help them with all kinds of tasks. I'll lay on the keyboard to help them with the computer, and when warm clothes come out of the dryer, I keep them warm by sleeping on them until they are ready to fold. I'm not much of a talker yet, but I squeak when I need something.

I'm still young, and have lots left to give.  I would love to find a kind and caring person to share my life with.

We came from the shelter in Red Bluff.  The shelter staff called us monkeys since we liked to climb all over our cage, and so named us Davey, Mickey, Mike and Peter after the Monkees!
