Xerox's Story

We were born to a real nice family in East Palo Alto.  The Fat Cat people heard about them and offered to get their adult cats fixed, and find homes for us.

My name is Xerox because I’m essentially a Xerox copy of my twin brother, Xerxes.  (Oops, am I in the wrong generation?  Do people not ask their secretaries to “Xerox” things anymore?)  But you can tell that I’m the copy, not the original, because my brother has a definitive thumbprint on his head that turned out a bit smudged on mine.  I’m a really active kitten, always finding a new game to play with my brothers.  And when it’s time for a cat nap, I’ll purr away off into my dreams right on your lap.
